25th Microoptics Conference in Jena

Update (March 30, 2020)

Dear Friends of the MOC2020,

the virus called Covid-19 is affecting all our lives and impacts seriously the health of many people, and also our plans and schedules. All serious experts expect, that we are only at the beginning of a longer lasting period of restrictions, especially concerning international travel and personal exchange.

In view of this situation, the organizing committee together with the conference chairs of MOC2020 finally came to the conclusion to CANCEL this year´s MOC2020. We are very sad not being able to welcome you here in Jena, Germany in September, but the health and safety of our colleagues and their families count more.

Of course, we all hope that the global situation normalizes quickly. Moreover, the MOC as a platform for the exchange of the Microoptics Community will go on! We are looking forward to see you in 2021 in Hamamatsu, Japan, and then in 2022 in Jena, Germany.

Please stay healthy and take care,

the Organizing Committee and Conference Chairs of MOC2020.

The Microoptics Conference (MOC) offers lectures and discussions to provide a scientific exchange for an update and review of scientific and technical information in a very wide range of microoptical topics. Covered subjects are, e.g., design, fabrication, and measuring, as well as applications with microoptical technologies, including the fields of communication, lighting, and quantum systems.

Besides that there will be opportunities to increase your own network (e.g., at a Conference Banquet) and to learn about new innovations and ideas (honored on-site with the Best Paper Award, and Student Paper Award). And of course, as with every previous MOC, the traditional Micro Concert will be on the agenda.

Take part in the central forum for microoptics and come to Jena in 2022!
